Poolside Cabinas

The  poolside cabinas offer 2 identically designed and furnished guest units with a full bath and kitchenette with mini fridge, coffee maker and 2 burner gas range.  (350 sq. ft each) These units have handmade rattan queen beds and night stands. 

 

The Poolside cabinas have large double French doors opening up to balconies providing a magical, suspended vista of the canopy forest below, the lush fields and valleys and the white water surf of playa Guiones.  The grass roof above helps to keep the cabinas cool in the mid day sun while providing poolside guests with a natural sunning deck perched high above the treetops.

 


New Rancho Pavilion and Cabinas – Built in 2006

The estate offers a magnificent, spacious tropical gathering place, our new octagon shaped 900 sq. ft rancho tucked into the forest canopy below the main house with inspiring views of the jungle, Pacific Surf and lush mountain slopes.  This traditionally handcrafted Guanacaste Rancho was constructed by the top rancho builder in the Nosara area and includes exotic hardwoods, teak flooring, cana brava interior roofing and rustic hardwood posts and beams. 

 

Beside the rancho is a similarly constructed open air grilling kitchen with a large grated grilling pit, running water and sink, two below counter refrigerators, microwave oven and plenty of counter space to cater a large gathering.

 

Below the new rancho are two guest cabinas (325 sq. ft.) built of the same natural materials as the rancho pavilion and feature handcrafted furniture, private balconies overlooking the lush tropical forest and ocean, mini refrigerators and a half bath located between the cabinas which is accessible to the rancho pavilion guests.

 

The level below the rancho cabinas features a spectacular tropical bathroom for our cabina guests.  The open air spacious bathroom includes a hot water shower built along side a river rock wall, a guanacaste double sink basin, cana brava roof, ceramic tiled flooring and a separate water closet.  The bathroom is completely private, exposes only to the dense tropical foliage and howler monkeys.  Also on this level is a third bedroom or office with ocean view.

 

Pool and Gazebo

A large kidney shaped wood deck and tiled pool (15 ft. x 30 ft.), offers a cool and refreshing respite from the warm pacific breezes.  The pool deck is surrounded by large, mature shade trees without blocking the panoramic views and can accommodate gatherings of over 200 guests. 

 

Just off the pool deck is the Sunrise Gazebo (140 sq. ft.), a favorite early morning coffee spot to gaze at the sun climbing over the mountains and lighting up the green valleys and fields.
