PURA VIDA LIFE CARE, 60 independent villas is a community of three levels of residence, independent living, assisted living, and Rehab. Health Center, within over 30 acres of park-like grounds bordered by a river with tropical foliage.

PURA VIDA LIFE CARE community is located in the hills overlooking the central valley of Costa Rica, between the capitol city of San Jose and the International airport, a mere 30 minutes in each direction with the perfect spring-like climate an average temperature of 72 degrees year round.  No air conditioning necessary and spending time outdoors in park-like surroundings is invigorating and healthy.

The villas are superbly designed with views of the valley and surrounding hills.  Each with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths plus fully equipped kitchen; laundry and carport, and the activity center includes the Club House , swimming pool, hot tub, exercise room, sauna & massage rooms, administration building, dining room, library and mini-market and the Health Center are grouped close by for convenient access.

SERVICES

Special diet and tray service are provided when ordered by the Medical Director.  Elegant and health cuisine in the Club House dining room and other services included are: yard & maintenance, emergency call system, weekly housekeeping, scheduled transportation, Medical Director on staff plus 24 hour nurse.

OTHER ACTIVITIES

Optional activities are: tours, parties, shopping, dancing, massage, movies, exercise, arts & crafts, beauty salon, language studies, golf putting green, computer assistance, scheduled entertainment, croquet and horse shoe games and of course, card games, board games, pool exercises, yoga, shuffle board, horse shoes, ping pong, guest speakers, Spainish and English tutoring, computer instruction, scheduled outings, art, pottery, painting, gardening, instruction writing your memoirs.

ADMISSION

To qualify for one of our beautiful villas, you must be at least 60 years of age, independent and in relatively good health.  For those persons who are not quite ready yet to move, we have our future residency priority wait list.  It is never too soon to plan your retirement.
